What is the difference between a wolf, a sheep, a wolf in sheep's clothing and a sheep in wolf's clothing? The reality in combat and in combat training; along with the defining factor is psychology. A warrior is defined by what he does; his actions in combat. A man's actions are driven by his intentions; and his intentions are part of his core character traits. The "Warrior Mind Set" is key to soldiers headed into combat; but it is also equally as important to anyone who wishes to compete. There are many who talk the talk; but there are few who walk the walk, and that walk is a lonely one.

A greater part of the offensive techniques that are used in Muay Thai make use of a fighter's hands, feet, elbows, and knees to hit an opponent. In order to combine the opponent for both defensive and offensive reasons, there is a little amount of grappling on the feet that is used - the clinch.

People often argue over which martial art is the most effective. Generally that goes along with whatever is most popular in pop culture at that time. There was a time that people thought Kung-Fu was the best because of Bruce Lee or Karate because of Chuck Norris or now Jujitsu because of the UFC.

Bruce Lee was known to consume a lot of healthy foods as he believed a good diet was one of the keys to successful physical fitness. He was not one to eat junk food as there was no nutritional value in it. Early on he started taking nutrition serious and used health foods, protein shakes and lots of fruit.

Bruce Lee was big on developing his forearm strength. It may be in part because of the style of martial art he was brought up on called Wing Chun. This style is a more close quarters style of fighting and believes the shortest distance between two points is a straight line so it may be more beneficial to have a strong arm to deliver a strong blow from close in.
