Every day there are at least 100 victims of violent crimes throughout the U.S. Each year there are over 1,000 violent crimes committed in each region of the United States of America. These crimes range from armed robbery, aggravated assault, murder and forcible rape. These statistics are based on information compiled from the U.S. department of justice. These are only the crimes that are reported. It is a known fact that many violent crimes are never reported, and many of these crimes are committed by repeat offenders. In many cases these statistics are results of a lack of education on the part of the victims. Although its not quite fair to say the ignorance of the victims brought about a warranted attack; it should be noted that many of these cases could have been avoided with the proper education or training.

There is A LOT of information on MMA strength & conditioning training out there - especially on the internet. One of the things I try to pride myself on is being fairly "down to earth". I can't stand these people who spend so much time trying to sound intelligent that the message they're trying to convey gets totally lost in translation.

The U.S. Military; often looked at as Americas finest. We see them everyday on the television defending America from terror abroad. They are skilled in fighting in all forms and fashion; right down to hand to hand combat. Aren't they? Many veterans today who have had the opportunity to see the core training of today's military aren't so sure that today's soldiers are fighting smarter and not harder.

Here's an interesting statistic: For all those students who walk through the door, join up, buy the uniform and take classes, only about three out of every one-hundred students will ever achieve the rank of Black Belt. Why? They are dedicated. They understand what they're getting in to, don't they? They apply themselves in the classroom like they mean business, too. So what happens to that 97%?
