I HAVE GREAT POTENTIAL AS A BASKETBALL PLAYER. Everybody says that. I have the height. I have this classy moves of a basketball player. What literally counts most is, I have the shooting touch to go with the moves. I have this nice touch from the outside helping me hit the hoops with unerring accuracy. Every game, I find myself being the top scorer. I’m always asked to be a teammate in pick-up games. This early I am the star player of our community’s basketball team. Having been given this gift, I have higher aims in my basketball career. I have high aims of trying out in our school’s varsity basketball team. There is one nagging problem. My weight. I’m overweight. Not to mention being extremely big in the middle. If I am the coach, I would definitely be not interested in me. What I need to do now is know the proper exercises to lose weight quickly. The competition is very stiff. A lot of students are very interested in trying out. From the looks of it, many are very talented. The tryout is very demanding. This is like going through the eye of the needle. I have to be at my very best.
I really need to make exercises to lose weight quickly. If I want to strengthen my chances of being selected then I have to do it. Otherwise, I can kiss my chances goodbye. There are many good players in the tryout. So in preparation, I started exercising many months in advance. Slowly at first lest I ran the risk of injuring myself or damaging my body. I started by jogging very early in the morning. Then, I teamed it up with calisthenics and limbering exercises. I can feel the change build up for me. I don’t get tired easily. My resistance is building up. So far, so good. What I need to do is trim my waist line. This will give me a good chance of passing the tryout. I went to the gym every other day. I included aerobics in my set of exercise. Then there is also the weights. It really does help in firming up the muscles.
To really speed up my exercises to lose weight quickly, I also did the Pilate exercise. This wonderful method had helped speed up the trimming of my waistline. It’s very effective and it’s a tried and tested method for a long time already. With the use of the Pilate exercise, you can get a flexible body and a flat abdomen in no time at all. It increases your body metabolism and thus burn that much hated calories. I’m feeling more stronger and have renewed confidence in myself. Keeping my fingers crossed but I have a good feeling I will make the team.
