The Benefits Of Exercise Are Huge
So the gym membership is about to expire in a few days and you’re considering staying at home and exercising there. Not only do you save the money, but all the time saved in great too. No more driving to and from the gym, which saves you 15 minutes each way. And no more having to find someone to watch the kids while you workout or no more having to put them in daycare at the gym (which sometimes is an extra cost anyway.) Yes, your mind is made up.
But the stepper you got last year is currently just an expensive coat rack, and the old, cheap treadmill is stuck in the corner of the basement collecting dust. And what about the exercise gadget you got off the TV months ago (the one that shakes your abs) that beneath a pile of magazines? Whoops. Has it been that long? Unfortunately, you always meant to exercise on a regular basis, and that is the reason you bought all this stuff in the first place. And maybe when your motivation disappeared, this is when you went back to the local gym to get motivated again. Then what can happen next is that your very hectic work hours on the job start adding to the overload of your already busy life, and you start thinking that you don’t have time to workout, so you stop. (Ouch again.)
Well, how about we change all that for you, starting today? If you want a long life of health and fitness, then you’re going to have to get serious about getting some good equipment and forget about the fad gimmicks. Are you with me on that? You really need to make up your mind that getting and staying fit and healthy is really something that can change your life in a huge way. Although being more attractive is a definite plus, you will gain so much more. More important than that is how you feel each and every day. For all the people who have lost a lot of weight, they can tell you firsthand how it is a lifechanging event. And we’re not talking small changes here, we’re talking about significant, very noticeable changes for the better. You feel so much better. So know that something that is so awesome in the results that it gives you should also be worth the investment from you.
There is no way around the fact that getting fit and looking great will require an investment from you. But look at it this way, would you invest $1 to get $100 back every day? If every single day, you went to the bank and gave them $1, and they handed you back $100, if that happened every single day, everyone would do it. Yes, you would first have to get in your car and actually go through the effort of driving to the bank, maybe fighting traffic and other drivers the whole way. And maybe the bank was on the other side of town, and maybe the bank teller was not the nicest person in the world, and maybe you had to stop for gas along the way. And maybe there’s more and more reasons or excuses for it being difficult to get to the bank every day. But with such huge payoffs like that, you would get to the bank every day guaranteed. Fitness is the exact same way. Only that we forget how huge the rewards are. Exercising and staying fit has so many rewards and benefits that it seems silly that we would let a few bad habits or weak excuses get in the way of experiencing a better life. If you remember to think about health and fitness in this way, from this perspective, it will go a long way to helping you stay excited and looking forward to your next workout.
